Supplier Sustainability Videos

We endeavour to partner with manufacturers and suppliers who do all they can to reduce their environmental footprint. We took our team out to meet with three of our key suppliers, Dulux, Glennon Brothers and Irish Cement to find out what they are doing to grow their businesses with sustainability in mind.
Energy Consumption

Across all Chadwicks branches, all lighting has been changed to LED delivering a 30% reduction in costs and all locations are powered by 100% renewable energy.
Technology

We have undergone multiple changes to be more sustainable with our technology such as replacing all printers with energy efficient Xerox machines, introducing an Ink Cartridge Recycling program and PrintReleaf program “Print One- Plant One”, as well as introducing ePOD and eInvoicing to remove paper when purchasing.
Community

From bug hotels, wild gardens, tree planting and supporting local community initiatives, Chadwicks prides itself in giving back to its communities.
Members of IGBC

We are proud to be a member of The Irish Green Building Council. The one common goal is to accelerate the transformation of the built environment, related industry and supply chain to one that is sustainable through leadership, research, education, and providing policy input to national and local government.
WEEE Recycling

Chadwicks are proud to implement the WEEE Regulations and Battery Directive to ensure that your old products are disposed of in a safe, correct manner reducing any harmful effects to the environment.
Carbon Credit Scheme

In conjunction with Bord Gais and the SEAI, Chadwicks Group would like to introduce our new carbon credit scheme for 2021.
Transport

Chadwicks is moving towards more sustainable transport through introducing the trail of electric vehicles, by replacing its fleet of forklifts with low emission vehicles and by fitting company vehicles with trackers to make drivers become aware of their driving behaviour.
