Stock is not secured until your order is placed and confirmed.

For orders placed before 1pm on ‘in-stock’ items next day delivery applies. However, there are some instances where delivery can take longer. If this is the case, your delivery branch will contact you and let you know.

Delivery FAQ'S

  • What is considered a Large item and eligible for the higher delivery fee?

    An item is considered large if it is over 1.2m and over 30kg. Large Items will be delivered by Chadwicks Logistics Team.

  • What is considered a small item and eligible for the smaller delivery fee?

    An item is considered small if it is under 1.2m and under 30kg. Small items will be delivered by Fastway.

  • What happens if I order after 1pm?

    For orders placed after 1pm, the delivery will take up to 2 working days.

  • Do you deliver Paint?

    Yes, we deliver a wide range of paint.

  • Do you deliver vitreous China?

    Yes, but this is subject to the larger item delivery charge of €20 inc. VAT. This would typically be from our bathroom range.

  • How do I return an item?

    If you have any questions or issues with any products you have purchased either in-store or online, please contact your local branch where you purchased the products from, and we will be happy to help.   • Do you deliver to Northern Ireland?

    No, at present we only deliver to each county in the Republic of Ireland.

  • Do you deliver to the United Kingdom/Britain?

    No, at present we only deliver to counties in the Republic of Ireland. Our partners Selco offer delivery in the UK but you must order on their website.

  • I have a Chadwicks credit account, can I view PODs (Proof of Deliveries) online?

    Yes, you can. You just need to login using your Chadwicks account number. Check out our video guide on how to get logged in and view PODs.

  • I have a Chadwicks credit account, can I order items for delivery and pay for items using my credit balance?

    Yes, you can. You just need to login. Once logged in you can pay for items using your credit balance. To get logged into your Chadwicks credit account check out our video guide.

  • Do you deliver large bulk materials to all counties in the Republic of Ireland?

    Yes, we deliver large bulk materials to all counties in the Republic with one exception. We do not deliver bricks to County Donegal.

  • How does pricing work for Hire ?

    We charge for either one day hire, weekend hire, (which is collect/delivered Friday after 12pm afternoon and bring back/ collected Monday before 10am) . that’s charged at 1.5 days. And, Full weeks hire , 3x one days rates. Over the week hire is calculated as follows: 0.2 of the weeks price charged for 5 days (working days).

  • How and when do I pay?

    You need to pay in advance of the hire for all cash business. Cash and all major cards are accepted. No cheques. Account customers with a full credit account can avail of their credit terms. No deposit required.

  • Do I need to pay a deposit?

    A deposit is required for cash business and is dependent on the day rate of the asset, Minimum deposit is 50 euro and depends on daily rate / weekly rate of the asset and the length of hire.

  • Is there a charge for delivery/collection?

    Yes we do charge for delivery and collection, starting at €30 but can be dependent on distance.
