Chadwicks Supplier Sustainability Initiatives
At Chadwicks we do not manufacture products ourselves. However, we do have a responsibility to our customers to offer products with less environmental impact. Currently we endeavour to partner with manufacturers and suppliers who do all they can to reduce their environmental footprint. We took our team out to meet with three of our key suppliers, Dulux, Glennon Brothers and Irish Cement to find out what they are doing to grow their businesses with sustainability in mind.
Dulux Paints Ireland
We spoke to Roisin Bermingham from Dulux at their manufacturing facility in Cork and discussed the changes that they have made to significantly reduce their environmental impact.
Glennon Brothers
We caught up with Mike Glennon from Glennon Brothers to talk through the various initiatives they have in place to help reduce harm to the enviroment and promote sustainable practices.
Irish Cement
We joined Brian Gilmore from Irish Cement to talk us through their exciting journey towards sustainability. As the first company in Ireland to be independently certified as achieving a BES 6001 “Excellent” rating for their cement products we were excited to hear about the latest chapter in their sustainability story.
